The role of Dr. Seuss would fit the A-Lister perfectly, seeing as the chameleon actor has already portrayed eccentric real-life artists such as Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie (Finding Neverland) and Hunter S. Thompson (The Rum Diary), as well as a list of odd and colourful characters like Willy Wonka (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and The Mad Hatter (Alice in Wonderland).
The untitled Dr. Seuss biopic will be distributed by Universal Pictures, who has previously produced other Seuss films, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Cat in the Hat.
